Quotes can be facilitated by working with our Customer Service professionals as noted above. All orders will be followed up with a quote for signature. Orders will not be processed until the quote with acceptance signature is received back by Stanisci Design.

PLANT SCHEDULING

Under normal circumstances Stanisci Design ships orders for standard hoods in 10 business days or less. Hoods with raised panels and/or arched panels require 15 day lead-time. Custom hoods which require design time, may require additional time.

At the time of order, an estimated ship date will be provided upon request. If you need your order shipped more quickly, let us know. Every effort will be made to meet your schedule; an upcharge may apply.

PAYMENT POLICY

All of our products are built to order. Therefore, all of your orders must be shipped pre-paid.

Checks
After a relationship is developed, terms may be arranged based on approved credit.

HOLD FOR PICKUP

If you wish to pick your order up at the plant, indicate this on your order form or tell the Stanisci Design representative when you place your order. Pickup hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time Monday through Friday. Please call to confirm that your order is complete before you come to pick it up.

SHIPPING

Most Stanisci Design Hoods are shipped common carrier. Size and weight rule out UPS or Fedex Ground. Our packaging is very robust. Hoods are palletized and crated. A nominal crating fee applies. Liner-ventilator units are able to be shipped via FedEx Ground. If the Liner-ventilator unit is ordered as part of a hood the ventilation will be shipped with the hood. If a Liner-ventilator is ordered separately it will be shipped in one or more boxes. All pricing is FOB Oxford, Michigan. Stanisci Design will not be liable for delays caused by shipping or freight companies.
We will ship to your third party cabinetmaker. Our packaging can be reused after thehood has been finished.

SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS

Please inspect your order immediately and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing it. To ensure that we are properly reimbursed by the freight company for shipping damages, we ask that you put the damaged item back in the original package with all the shipping materials intact. We will contact the carrier and determine whether the package should be returned to Stanisci Design. It is important that all items are kept intact to process the shipping claim, or the carrier will deny the claim.

WARRANTY

Stanisci Design and Manufacturing Inc. warrants that its products are sold free from defects at the time of shipment. The beauty of a natural wood product does allow for minimal amounts of natural characteristics of wood to show. Wood products also must expand and contract. Tolerances have been engineered in to allow for wood movement. Mitered seams of hoods may open to 1/32″ during seasonal changes in humidity. This is normal and does not indicate that the structure of the hood has weakened. To minimize movement the hoods must be finish coated inside and out. Failure to finish coat the hood inside and out may void the warranty.

Stanisci Design and Manufacturing is not liable for any damage done to our product due to improper handling or cleaning, or if the product is stored for extended periods without being top-coated. Stanisci Design and Manufacturing Inc. will not warranty any defects that could have been prevented by the customer, such as improper surface preparation. This warranty covers only the replacement of the product produced by Stanisci Design and Manufacturing Inc. and the shipping charges to and from Stanisci Design and Manufacturing Inc. This warranty does not cover any installation or removal, labor, travel time or any kind of related products used with our products. It covers replacement or repair of the product at the sole discretion of Stanisci Design and Manufacturing Inc. This warranty is valid for one year from the date of shipment.

ORDER CHANGES

Our Wood Range Hoods are custom built per order. Each hood requires extensive engineering resources and specialized manufacturing equipment to produce. Given this information we are not able to accept order changes once an order has been approved and released to production.

LOCAL BUILDING CODES

Range Hoods and Ventilators are subject to local building codes. We attempt to design our hoods to meet as many building codes as possible. Unfortunately we are unable to keep track of all the local building codes. It is your responsibility to make sure Stanisci Design wood range hoods and ventilators meet your local building code. If you have unique building code requirements, we will attempt to revise our design meet those codes; an upcharge may apply.

FINISH SANDING

Every hood that leaves the plant is finish sanded by hand to 180 grit. Although some customers finish the hoods as delivered, we recommend that you touch up the sanding and match the sanding grit to the rest of the kitchen. It will enable a better color and sheen match. Also, rub marks may have occurred during shipping that could show up under the finish.

The technical information in this package with regard to dimensions and drawings is not binding. Stanisci Design and Manufacturing reserves the right to improve designs and change specifications without notice.

Please note that Stanisci Design does not sell directly to the retail public.
